♀Perrine Boisaubert

Perrine Boisaubert (died 5 February 1664) was a woman of Channay-sur-Lathan, in the diocese of Angers in Anjou, and the mother of Pierre Chicoine, who emigrated to New France in 1663. She was the tenth great-grandmother of Nancy Jane Blanchard (1929–2006), through her son Pierre Chicoine (1639–1692).

She is known from two records of her son. The parish register of Channay-sur-Lathan records the baptism, on 7 February 1639, of “Pierre filz de Gilles Chicoysne et de Perrine Boisaubert”, with Martin Chicoysne the younger as godfather. The marriage of Pierre to Madeleine Chrétien at Montréal on 20 October 1670 again names his parents as Gilles Chicoinne and Perrine Boisaubert. According to the Fichier Origine, the register-checked file of French emigrants to Québec, she died at Channay-sur-Lathan on 5 February 1664, the year after her son left for Canada; her burial has not been seen in the register. No record of her birth or marriage has been found.
