♂Jean Baptiste Perodeau

Jean Baptiste Perodeau (died before 22 January 1731) was the father of Jean Perodeau, who came from the parish of Montchaude in the diocese of Saintes^W in France and married at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, on the island of Montréal, in 1731. He was the seventh great-grandfather of Floyd Amatus Delahorne (1922–2014), through his son Jean Perodeau. He and his wife Antoinette Besis are known only from their son’s marriage to Angélique Gallien at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue on 22 January 1731. The act names the groom Jean Baptiste Perodeau, single, of the “PAROISSE DE MONCHAUDE, DIOCESE DE SAINTES EN FRANCE”, son of the late Jean Baptiste Perodeau and of Antoinette Besis, so the father had died by that date. The records do not show when or where he and his wife were born, married or died. The act is known from the index of the Québec parish registers; the register page itself has not been read.
