♀Anne Curier

Anne Curier was the wife of Thibault Gautier, a bourgeois of Clermont-Ferrand, in Auvergne^W, and the mother of Philippe Gautier, a master printer in Paris. She was the eleventh great-grandmother of Nancy Jane Blanchard (1929–2006), through her son Philippe Gautier.

The Fichier Origine, a register-verified compilation of immigrants’ origins, records that their son Philippe Gautier, born in Paris in 1592, married Marie Pichon at the church of Saint-Sulpice in Paris on 10 June 1618, after a marriage contract of 27 May, and that he was then the son of the late Thibault Gautier (written Gaultier), a bourgeois, and of Anne Curier, of Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne. The same compilation makes Philippe a master printer, buried at Saint-Étienne-du-Mont in Paris on 13 August 1631. It does not say when the family lived at Clermont-Ferrand, and no record of Anne’s own birth, marriage or death has been found.
