♂Robert Gallien

Robert Gallien (died before 8 September 1670) was the father of the Robert Gallien who married Anne Masson at Québec on 8 September 1670, and is known only as a named parent in that marriage. He was the ninth great-grandfather of Floyd Amatus Delahorne (1922–2014), through his son Robert Gallien (born 1636). The index of the marriage act names the groom’s parents as Robert Gallien, already dead by then, and Charlotte Nommaire. The act gives the groom as a native of Valleville, in the diocese of Lisieux^W, in France, and as living at Beauport. The dictionary of Cyprien Tanguay^W names the same parents. The records do not show whether Robert Gallien the father ever left France, and they give no date or place for his birth or death.
