♂Nicolas Masson

Nicolas Masson (died before 8 September 1670) is known from one record, the marriage of his daughter Anne Masson to Robert Gallien at Québec on 8 September 1670, which names him as her late father. He was the ninth great-grandfather of Floyd Amatus Delahorne (1922–2014), through his daughter Anne Masson (born 1637).

The index of the marriage act, at Notre-Dame de Québec, names the bride’s parents as Nicolas Masson, written Lemasson in the act and dead by that date, and Martine Bertine Duval, and gives the bride’s origin as Moitiers-d’Allonne, in the diocese of Coutances^W, in France. Tanguay’s dictionary gives the same parents, writing the mother’s name Martine-Bertin Duval. Anne Masson and Robert Gallien had children baptised at Québec in 1671 and 1672 and at Beauport from 1681 to 1689, among them Pierre Galien, born in 1683. The records read so far do not show when or where Nicolas Masson died, or whether he ever came to New France.
